Welcome to the thrilling journey of Yamaha Nepal's 'Ride to MotoGP' adventure, an epic 8-day road trip, from the cultural city of Kathmandu, Nepal, to the the Buddh International Circuit in Noida, India. Here's our experience on Day 2.

Our adventure began at 9 a.m. as we revved up our bikes and bid farewell to Bhairawaha. The border crossing, although a slight delay, didn't dampen our spirits. Soon, we found ourselves on a picturesque journey that would leave us with unforgettable memories.

As the road stretched out before us, we couldn't resist the temptation of a roadside pakoda stall. Those crispy, flavorful pakodas were the perfect fuel for the road ahead. With satisfied appetites, we continued our ride towards Basti. The tarmac was smooth, traffic was sparse, and the long, straight stretches were flanked by lush green fields.

In Basti, we decided to take a well-deserved break for lunch. Parathas, mutton curry, and rice filled our plates, offering a taste of local flavors. Little did we know that our pause in Basti would extend, as one of our bikes required unexpected repairs. Fortunately, a nearby Yamaha service network came to our rescue, however, getting us back on the road took us some time.

Nevertheless, our journey continued towards Lucknow, but as luck would have it, heavy rain greeted us upon reaching the Saryu River. Undeterred, we embraced the challenge and played a game of hide and seek with the raindrops. Thanks to our machines' impressive performance, especially their braking capabilities in wet conditions, we navigated the slippery roads with confidence.

As the rain subsided, we decided to take a quick refreshment break at a roadside tea stall. Sipping on steaming cups of chai, we exchanged stories and laughter, savoring the camaraderie that comes with a long ride. Finally, after a 330-kilometer journey, we arrived in Lucknow.

Our ride from Bhairawaha to Lucknow had been a mix of challenges, delicious food, unexpected repairs, and the joy of riding in the rain. But our adventure is far from over

Our destination for tomorrow is Noida, the home of Buddh International Circuit, where we are eagerly anticipating the first-ever MotoGP event in India. This leg of the journey would require us to cover an additional 490 kilometres, but the excitement of witnessing world-class racing will make every mile worth it.
